With a background spanning from CFO roles at SanDD, a prominent distribution and logistics firm, to his tenure as CFO of Spyker Cars and the Spyker Formula 1 team, Richard brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
But his journey doesn’t stop there. Richard has committed to securing a staggering $100 million for Titans Space through the Titans Astronauts program, enlisting four Dutch Titans Astronauts to join the mission. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in the financing team at Titans Space, orchestrating deals totaling $5 billion.
In that role, Richard played a crucial part in obtaining initial financial incentives for Titans Space amounting to several hundred million dollars.

Richard has been involved with the Titans Space founding team since 2008 and is part of the company’s financing team.
Richard is the former CFO of companies like Spyker Cars, Spyker Formula One, and Sandd, and (interim-)executive of numerous other large corporations – both public listed and privately operated.
Richard is a thoroughly experienced corporate problem solver with decades of executive experience, especially in the business development and financial field. Richard has a proven track record of creating winning environments and successful turnarounds within numerous corporations in order to successfully initiate and execute change processes.

Richard is a generalist with an exceptionally strong financial, operational, and change background, having served in roles at CFO as well as COO levels. Richard is a people manager who ensures that the company has intrinsic values or changes intrinsically.
Richard has worked at companies in automotive, leasing, insurance, music, high-tech, technology, media, and logistics. These companies all had a serious challenge that his team solved under his leadership.
Richard received a Masters of Science degree in Business Administration(MSCBA) from Erasmus University (2001), with a major in Change Management, and a minor in Marketing Management & Information Management. In 1995, Richard got a diploma as Qualified Controller from NIVE – HOFAM, and he received a Bachelor of Economics degree from Praehep – SPD in 1993.
Richard has been a founding member of NSL & Co. LLC since its inception in 2008, maintaining a close association with the company’s founder and Titans Space principal founder, Neal S. Lachman, throughout the years.

Richard has been appointed the Titans Astronauts ambassador, but his role at Titans Space goes beyond space tourism.
Richard will participate in various missions, spanning from spaceplane expeditions to joining crews on space stations and spaceships in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and lunar endeavors. His main responsibility will be operating robotic arms on the vehicles during missions and later on the Lunar surface.
Richard’s continued involvement to the Titania Lunar Colony Master Plan has earned him a coveted spot on the Selene Mission!
Selected to join Titans Space CEO, Neal Lachman, and Launching Astronaut Ambassador Vaseema Hussain MCIAT, Richard will be among the first humans to set foot on the Moon as part of the historic Selene Mission, commencing in 2029. The remaining crew members will be revealed soon.
