As a driven BIM Architect and mother of two, my life thrives on a balance of ambition and family. However, beyond the blueprints and bedtime stories lies another passion that has simmered since childhood: space exploration.
While my career path led to a successful 17 years in architecture, the allure of the cosmos never dimmed. I remember writing a letter to the ESA and NASA as a child (yes, an actual handwritten letter) and I was sent a package with lots of posters. So, whilst my friends had posters of pop stars on their walls, I had posters of the Hubble telescope and Space on mine. Those early sparks ignited a lifelong fascination.
Fast forward to today, the concept of space tourism is no longer science fiction. Discovering Titans Space and their vision for space flights and a lunar colony reignited my childhood dream. Their dedication to pushing boundaries resonated deeply, and I knew I had to be a part of this incredible journey.
This isn’t just about ticking off a bucket list item; it’s about embracing an opportunity that aligns with my core values: innovation, exploration, and pushing the limits of what’s possible. With space tourism on the horizon, the dream of experiencing space firsthand is closer than ever.
As John Young eloquently stated, “The dream is alive.” And for me, that dream now includes the thrilling prospect of becoming a Launching Astronaut and even putting my real life experience as an architect to use by helping Titans Space build a permanent settlement on the Moon – Titania Lunar.
As a dedicated professional with a unique blend of technical expertise and unwavering passion, I believe I can contribute meaningfully to this groundbreaking endeavor.

Her ever-growing bucket list is a testament to her adventurous spirit and her love of learning.
Vaseema’s journey with Titans Space began when a friend shared an email about their space tourism program.
Titans Space occasionally reaches out to specific audiences via targeted emails, like the one Vaseema received. This particular email informed her about the “Launching Astronaut” program, an opportunity for adventurous individuals to become among the company’s first space tourists.
Vaseema started communicating with the team, which led her to connect with Titans Space CEO, Neal Lachman, and embark on a remarkable journey.
Initially signing on as a launch astronaut, Vaseema’s enthusiasm for space exploration and insightful contributions quickly impressed the team. Additionally, her expertise as an architectural technologist proved invaluable to Titans Space’s vision for a lunar settlement.
Vaseema has been appointed the Launching Astronauts ambassador, but her role at Titans Space goes beyond space tourism.
Recognizing Vaseema’s expertise and deep interest, Neal Lachman asked her to join the company’s Lunar Master Plan, contributing her expertise to the design and architecture of a permanent Lunar settlement known as Titania Lunar.
Vaseema will participate in various missions, spanning from spaceplane expeditions to joining crews on space stations and spaceships in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and lunar endeavors.
Vaseema’s dedication to the Titania Lunar Colony Master Plan has earned her a coveted spot on the Selene Mission!
Selected to join Titans Space CEO, Neal Lachman, and co-founder/Titans Astronaut Richard Borsboom, Vaseema will be among the first humans to set foot on the Moon as part of the historic Selene Mission, commencing in 2029. The remaining crew members will be revealed soon.
Vaseema was interviewed (January 1, 2024) by The Urban Kube host Shemiza Rashid about her work, her passions, and the impact of media and the Israel/Palestine conflict on our children. She talks briefly about Titans Space at the end of the interview. The sound on YouTube starts at ~5:00.
