Dr. Jeremy Saget, MD, MS, is an aerospace physician, commercial spaceflight executive, parabolic flight surgeon for Space Agencies, and rotary-wing Aeromedical Evacuation Team flight surgeon for the United Nations, with more than two decades of experience spanning aerospace medicine, operational medicine, human performance, emergency medicine, analog astronautics, medical education, and healthcare leadership.

Jeremy currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of Titans Space Industries, Chief Astronautics Officer, Deputy Dean of Titans Space Academy, and career Astronaut Candidate, where he leads initiatives at the intersection of human spaceflight, medical operations, astronaut training, commercial space development, and the emerging Earth–Moon economy. His work integrates clinical medicine, systems thinking, operational risk management, biomedical research, human factors engineering, and policy development to support the safest flight experience for space travelers.

At Titans Space Industries, Jeremy contributes to the development of medical architectures and operational frameworks for commercial spaceflight, orbital transportation, lunar settlement, and short to long-duration human exploration.

Jeremy’s responsibilities include space medicine strategy and implementation, astronaut selection and training, biomedical risk assessment, human performance optimization, emergency medical systems, inclusive spaceflight, operational standards, medical governance, and interdisciplinary research supporting commercial and governmental space programs. He has led initiatives involving universal accessibility for commercial spaceflight, medical support concepts for orbital and lunar operations, crew resource management, and the integration of healthcare systems within next-generation space infrastructure.

Jeremy’s work also supports the development of Titans Space Academy curricula, international educational programs, and multidisciplinary research collaborations designed to prepare the future workforce for the cislunar economy.

Jeremy’s foundation combines extensive clinical and aerospace experience. He is a board-certified Aerospace Physician and has served as a parabolic flight surgeon for Novespace, French Space Agency chapter, supporting ESA, CNES, DLR, NASA international microgravity research campaigns, and as a weightless flight instructor preparing researchers, astronauts and passengers for parabolic flight operations. His experience further includes rotary-wing aeromedical evacuation in war zones, telemedicine, emergency medicine, healthcare coordination, rehabilitation medicine leadership, and more than a decade of university teaching and physician training. Throughout his career he has combined frontline medical practice with operational decision-making in demanding, high-reliability environments where safety, teamwork, and human performance are mission critical.

Beyond clinical operations, Jeremy has been deeply engaged in human spaceflight research contributions for many years. He has served as crew commander and flight surgeon during all-medics crew analog Mars missions, advisor to the University of Toronto’s in a biomedical engineering project (outstanding contributor award, 2018, association of spaceflight professionals), instructor in space and remote medicine.

Jeremy’s research interests include remote healthcare, telesurgery and teleanesthesia, cognitive science, human factors, social psychology in extreme environment, and medical systems supporting long-duration missions. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, conference proceedings, and invited presentations addressing microgravity physiology, deep Space missions ‘architectures, telemedicine, space medicine innovation, human-centered exploration, and healthcare technologies for isolated and extreme environments.

Jeremy earned his Doctor of Medicine with highest honors and valedictorian distinction from the University of Bordeaux, holds a European Master of Science in Cognitive Science and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science, completed postgraduate specialization in Aerospace Medicine at Bordeaux and Toulouse Universities, and earned a University Diploma in Medical Coordination and Leadership from Sorbonne University.

His additional professional training includes Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Operational Training Certification, International Space University studies, crew resource management, hypoxia awareness, IVA spacesuit operations, and operational astronautics. He is fluent in French and English and has logged 1000+ parabolas supporting scientific research and commercial human spaceflight.

Driven by the conviction that the future of human spaceflight depends as much on medicine, education, ethics, Human capital and operational excellence as on engineering, Jeremy works to develop integrated medical and human-performance systems that enable safe, sustainable, and inclusive expansion into space. His long-term commitment is to help establish the medical, educational, and operational foundations required for permanent human presence throughout cislunar space and beyond, while preparing the next generation of astronauts, physicians, scientists, artists, workforce, and explorers to serve an increasingly interconnected Earth–Moon civilization.
